Police: Body Pulled From Schuylkill River Identified As Missing Phila. Man
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police have confirmed a body pulled from the Schuylkill River in East Falls last Friday has been identified as 69-year-old Vito Maglio.
Police say he was reported missing from his residence in December.
The Medical Examiner has ruled the manner of death a homicide, according to police.
Investigators say he was pulled from the river with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
