Police Arrest Man Wanted For Double-Shooting In Manayunk

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police have identified and arrested the man responsible for allegedly shooting two men in Manayunk back in September, 2013. (See previous story)

The incident occurred on September 9, 2013 after two men had left the Grape Room Bar.  As the victims were walking to their vehicle of the 4300 block of Cresson Street, they were shot multiple times. One of the men was left critically injured after being shot multiple times in the chest.

After surveillance video was released to the public, several anonymous tips were received identifying Clifton Morris, 28, as the suspect.

Morris was arrested without incident on Monday, March 17.

He has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and other related offenses.
