Police: Armed Suspect Wanted For Rape Of 3 In Fishtown
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for the rape and robbery of three individuals in Fishtown.
Authorities say the incident occurred on Sunday, August 23 around 6:30 p.m. Police say the suspect robbed two women and one man at gunpoint in a wooded area near Cumberland Street and the Delaware River.
According to authorities, the three victims were also sexually assaulted. Police add that the suspect bound the victims with their clothing before leaving the scene.
Police say the suspect is likely in his early 30s, about 5'9" tall, and weighs around 230lbs. He was wearing a white tank top, a white Phillies hat, and jean shorts. Authorities also say he has a light mustache and beard.
