19-Month-Old Hospitalized After Fall From Window In Summerdale
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a 19-month-old girl was hospitalized after falling from a first-floor window in Philadelphia's Summerdale neighborhood.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Bridge Street.
Authorities say the child suffered a fractured skull, concussion, head bruises and other injuries.
She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and placed in stable condition.
An investigation is underway by the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit.
