Police: 11-Year-Old Girl Shot While She Walked Home From School

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after an 11-year-old girl was shot while she was walking home from school.
It happened in the 700 block of Luzerne Street in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia at about 3:30 this afternoon.
Authorities say the girl, described only as a hispanic female, was shot in her right foot by a black male wearing a black skull-cap and a black t-shirt with a brown dragon printed on front.
The girl was transported to St. Christopher's Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police say no weapons have been recovered from the scene.
