Police: 1 Dead Following Accident On Northeast Extension In Lehigh County
LOWER MACUNGIE, Pa. (CBS) -- Chopper 3 was over the scene of a fatal accident in Lehigh County.
Police say shortly after 12 p.m. a box truck rear ended a tractor-trailer on the Northeast Extension at mile marker 53 northbound.
Officials say the driver of the box truck suffered fatal injuries.
Authorities say the road is closed in the northbound direction and will remain shut down for at least another hour.
