Water main break in Plymouth Township impacting handful of residents

Construction due to Plymouth Township water main break could disrupt Monday's morning commute

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA (CBS) -- Ten Aqua PA customers are still without water following a main break in Plymouth Township Sunday morning, police said.

There is no boil water notice in effect at this time.

The break happened at about 6:15 a.m.

Both lanes of eastbound Germantown Pike have reopened since the break. But the westbound lanes of Germantown Pike remain closed between Plymouth Road and Chemical Road, according to police.

Police said repairs are going to last well into Sunday night, and possibly during rush hour Monday. Police are asking commuters to plan accordingly.

AQUA is still on scene of the main break.
