Pizza Delivery Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – A Domino's pizza delivery man was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning while on the job in Newark, Delaware, according to police.

The robbery occurred just before 2 a.m. in the parking lot of 500 Stamford Drive.

Police say the 20-year-old victim was delivering two pizzas to what he thought was an apartment. After realizing there was no apartment, the victim got back into his car. The suspect then approached the driver's side window with a handgun, and took an undisclosed amount of cash as well as the victim's cell phone. The suspect then left the scene on foot.

The suspect is described by police as a white male between 5'6" and 5'9" with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head, a black bandanna covering his face and black gloves.
