Flyers Forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare Out 2 Weeks
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Flyers forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare will be out two weeks with a "lower body injury," the team announced on Wednesday.
Bellemare left Tuesday's game against the Sabres after being cross-checked with about six minutes remaining in the first-period.
Bellemare, 30, is in his second season with the Flyers. In 2014-15, Bellemare had six goals and six assists. In eight games this year, he has just one goal and no assists.
Also on the Flyers' injury front, forward Sean Couturier is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
