Picket Signs Made As Potential SEPTA Strike Looms

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Talks resumed Saturday to avoid a strike by SEPTA bus, subway and trolley workers. They lasted all day, and nothing was resolved.

Members of Transit Workers Union Local 234 have prepared picket signs for 5,700 workers threatening to walk off the job at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday if their union and SEPTA management can't come up with an agreement.

Some of the sticking points include pension and health care.

SEPTA has posted a strike contingency plan.

Regional Rail lines will not be impacted.
