Philly Voters Enjoy Final Presidential Debate On The Big Screen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphians got the opportunity to enjoy the third presidential debate in an unconventional way.

A few dozen people packed into a free non-partisan viewing party at the United Artist theater in South Philadelphia where they got to chow down on popcorn, candy and other snacks while taking in the debate on a movie screen.

Many of the folks who came out say the experience was awesome.

"Seeing it with my friend was really good. We had an opportunity to express ourselves, see things first hand as a group and just kind of see everybody's reaction to it, so that was a good experience," one watcher said.

"I think it's a really nice experience, especially to watch it with a lot of different people."

"Pretty interesting to see it on an HD screen you get to see a lot more facial expressions," another viewer expressed.

Many of the people who came out say even though their political opinions may differ from the people they watched the debate with, it was good to see other's views.
