Philly Soccer Show: Developments In Youth Soccer
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - We take an in depth look at youth soccer development with two guys that played the game, this week on the KYW Philly Soccer Show.
Jeff Parke and Jeremiah White of NXT Soccer are in the studio with KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page's Eli Pearlman-Storch.
Parke and White are both local products and both had storied careers -- Parke in MLS, including a season with the Union, and White playing in leagues throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Both Parke and White talk about what they are trying to do to help develop soccer at the youth level in the area. They discuss not only increasing players' skill on the field, but also proper fitness and nutrition off the field.
White, who has a background in software development, talks about how new technology is also tool in improving players.
