Philadelphia Officer Involved In Accident While Riding Police-Issued Dirt Bike On I-676

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police officer was involved in an accident while riding a police-issued dirt bike on I-676 on Friday. Police say the officer was traveling eastbound on I-676 at Broad Street around 9 a.m. when he made contact with another vehicle.
He was taken to Jefferson University Hospital with a leg injury and is in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
