The Philadelphia Phillies are facing the New York Mets in the National League Division Series, which began last week at Citizens Bank Park.

The Mets beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 in Game 3 of the Wild Card Series last week to advance in the MLB playoffs, setting up the first-ever playoff meeting between the heated NL East rivals.

The Mets now lead the NLDS 2-1 after a 7-2 win over the Phillies on Tuesday night at Citi Field.

Here's what you need to know before the first pitch of Game 4 on Wednesday night.

  • Game 1: In Philadelphia, Saturday, 4:08 p.m. -- Mets 6, Phillies 2
  • Game 2: In Philadelphia, Sunday, 4:08 p.m. -- Phillies 7, Mets 6
  • Game 3, In New York, Tuesday, Oct. 8, 5:08 p.m. Mets 7, Phillies 2
  • Game 4, In New York, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 5:08 p.m.
  • Game 5, In Philadelphia, Friday, Oct. 11, 4:33 p.m., if necessary

  • Game 1: Zack Wheeler vs. Kodai Senga 
  • Game 2: Cristopher Sanchez vs. Luis Severino 
  • Game 3: Aaron Nola vs. Sean Manaea

Season series

The Phillies won the season series against the Mets, 7-6, and outscored New York, 69-59. The Phillies clinched their postseason berth with a win over the Mets in September.

The season series between the Phillies and Mets included a trip to London, which the two teams split.

After the London series, the Mets caught fire and finished the year 61-37 to secure a wild card spot in the playoffs. The Phillies went 50-47 after the London Series.

NLDS tickets

At the end of September, the Phillies announced a ticket lottery fans could enter for the chance to buy postseason tickets. 

The Phillies will be in New York for Game 4, but if the series comes back to Citizens Bank Park, fans will have a chance to see Philadelphia close out the series at home. 

As of Tuesday night, SeatGeek has the cheapest tickets listed at $256 each.
