Phillies Look To Right The Ship In DC

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After an ugly series where they lost four of five to the New York Mets at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies now open a six-game road trip with the first of three in Washington tonight.
The Phillies now sit at 24-31 for the season, they are alone in last place in the National League East, 6 1/2 games behind the first-place Braves.
Washington is 27-28 this season, they have lost seven of their last ten games and sit 3 1/2 games back in the division.
David Buchanan gets the start tonight for the Phillies. This will be his third MLB start since getting called up from AAA Lehigh Valley. He is 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA.
The Nationals will counter with RHP Jordan Zimmerman who is 3-2 this season with a 4.07 ERA. In ten career starts against the Phillies, Zimmerman is 4-5 with a 3.94 ERA.
Phillies and Washington played a three-game series back in early May at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies winning two of three.
