Philadelphia's Emlen Elementary School Closes Due To COVID Outbreak

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An East Mount Airy school will close temporarily due to a COVID outbreak. School officials say there have been multiple positive cases in the school.
Families and staff members got a notice that Emlen Elementary School will close through Sept. 24. Students will learn virtually during the closure.
The entire school will be deep cleaned.
Lindley Academy Charter School in Logan is also closed after several positive cases. The closure began last Friday and goes through Sept. 24.
