Philadelphia's Archdiocesan Schools Will Be Closed Tuesday Due To Storm
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has announced archdiocesan high schools as well as Catholic elementary schools will be closed Tuesday.
Philadelphia's School District announced its public schools will also be closed Tuesday.
Officials say the decision was made due to ongoing travel difficulties associated with the weekend's winter storm.
Archdiocesan high schools and Catholic elementary schools in the suburban counties normally follow the decision of their corresponding local public school district and submit closure statuses independently.
