Philadelphia Prosecutors Say They'll Announce Arrest Of Pa. Lawmaker

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia district attorney's office says it's going to announce the arrest of a Pennsylvania state representative.

The office of District Attorney Seth Williams said he will hold a news conference Monday afternoon to announce the arrest.

Williams' office isn't saying yet who it's arresting.

But he'll be appearing with members of his special investigations unit and his public corruption task force who helped lead a wide-ranging investigation into the state Legislature beginning in 2007 for the state attorney general's office.

Most state representatives in Philadelphia are Democrats, and leaders of the state House Democratic caucus did not immediately return telephone messages left Monday morning.
