PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Joseph Sullivan confirms to CBS3's Joe Holden he has resigned from the force. Sullivan is a longtime veteran of the department.
His departure comes ten days ahead of Commissioner Danielle Outlaw's first day on the job.
Deputy Commissioner Sullivan had applied for the top spot in Philadelphia Police Department, along with other higher-ups on the force.
