Philadelphia Police Arrest Robbery Suspect Who Came To Them

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A robbery suspect made his apprehension easy for police Monday.

Authorities say the suspect held up two banks within minutes, first hitting the TD Bank near 11th and Chestnut around 1:30 p.m., then the PNC branch on the 1100 block of Market Street.

He then used a cab as his getaway vehicle, police say, and a bicycle officer followed them.

Moments later, the suspect was nabbed at 7th and Race Streets -- just outside police headquarters.

It is unknown how much money the suspect tried to get away with. He is now in FBI custody.
