Philadelphia's Platt Bridge reopens after car fire stops traffic

The Platt Bridge in Philadelphia has reopened in both directions after closing early Tuesday morning because of a car fire.

Total Traffic cameras showed the vehicle in flames earlier in the morning, and around 7:15 a.m. video from Chopper 3 showed crews putting out the last of the fire.

Traffic was backed up on the eastbound and westbound sides Tuesday morning. Cars traveling east began moving shortly before 7:30 a.m., and westbound traffic fully reopened around 9 a.m.
