Philadelphia Auto Show To Keep Doors Open Despite Snow

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Looking for something to do besides shoveling tomorrow?
The Philadelphia Auto Show is keeping its doors open despite the snow.
Getting to the Pennsylvania Convention Center might be the hardest part, especially if your visit is to research a replacement for a ride that's worse for wear.
"We will be open for business, but obviously there will be an impact because of this foul weather we're encountering," Donald Franks said.
Donald Franks, the Auto Show's dealer chairman, says he hopes mass transit remains an option:
"They can take the rail all the way into Market East and just climb up the stairs. Everything's indoors. It's a wonderful thing."
If a storm has to happen, Franks doesn't mind the weekday timing:
"This coming Saturday, the second Saturday of the show is generally the biggest day of the whole show," Franks said.
After all that ice, they still had a good turnout last weekend -- 65,000 people.
