Philadelphia Auto Show Breaks Several Attendance Records
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia International Auto Show wrapped up Sunday, and organizers say it was a huge success.
Not only was the show the second-most attended in the 114 years it's been taking place, but the final weekend was the best weekend in the show's history.
"We rocked the Convention Center to the core this weekend, breaking records both days," said Don Franks, chairman of the Philadelphia Auto Show. "In just two days, over 107,000 people came out to see 700 of the world's finest automobiles under one roof. Nothing compares with the iconic Philadelphia Auto Show. It's part of the fabric of Philadelphia, which is why so many in the community attend year-after-year."

Saturday, Feb. 7th was also the most-attended day ever for the Auto Show, with 60,786 visitors to the Pa. Convention Center.
Organizers say the show's charitable event, the Black Tie Tailgate, also broke attendance records, with 4,500 people showing up to support the Division of Neonatology at CHOP.
The Philadelphia International Auto Show is one of the country's largest auto shows and is slated to return to Philly from Jan. 30th to Feb. 7, 2016.
