Pet Food Company Recalls Potentially Tainted Food
WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS) – The FDA announced the recall of several dry pet foods due to salmonella risks.
Pro-Pet LLC is voluntarily recalling the products, which tested positive for salmonella.
The foods included in the recall include several types of cat and dog foods including Hubbard Life and QC Plus and were sold in numerous states, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
While the FDA says no illnesses have been reported, they are urging all pet owners to stop feeding their animals the potentially tainted food and contact Pro-Pet at 1-888-765-4190 for disposition.
