Penn State Kicks Off Season Vs. Temple At The Linc
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Temple and Penn State will kick off their respective seasons facing off at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, September 5th at 3:30 p.m. E.T, as announced on Wednesday.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
Other game times announced for Penn State football include:
September 12th at home vs. Buffalo - 12 p.m.
September 19th vs. Rugters - 8 p.m.
October 10th (homecoming) vs. Indiana - 12 p.m.
October 17th at Ohio State University - 8 p.m.
Also, Penn State announced they have hired former NFL coach Jim Haslett to serve as a consultant.
"We are very excited to have Jim with our program," head coach James Franklin said. "Jim has an outstanding football mind and invaluable experience that will be a tremendous resource. He has great knowledge of the game at the next level and we plan to put that to good use. He will work with our offensive, special teams and defensive coaches and will be a fantastic sounding board for our staff."
