Pa. Mom Ordered To Trial On Charges She Had Sex With Foster Son
HYDE PARK, Pa. (AP) — A 38-year-old woman has been ordered to trial on charges she had sex with her then-14-year-old foster son, after a hearing at which the boy testified he "forced" himself on the woman.
Thirty-eight-year-old Dana Fouse, of Hyde Park, declined comment after Tuesday's preliminary hearing. But her defense attorney, Ron Valasek, says she maintains her innocence and predicted, "It's going to be a very interesting case."
The boy, now 16, testified that he "forced" himself on the woman saying, "I don't think she ever wanted to do any of it."
But state police contend Fouse encouraged the boy by telling him she couldn't become pregnant and warned him not to drink alcohol for fear he'd tell about their alleged 11-month sexual relationship if he got drunk.
She's awaiting trial on statutory sexual assault and other charges.
