Pa. Attorney General Kane Admits She Erred in Monday's Sandusky Statement

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- It seems that Pennsylvania attorney general Kathleen Kane erred in her bombshell allegation that there were two more victims of Jerry Sandusky that he was not charged with abusing.
Kane created a stir Monday when she released the report of her office's review of the Jerry Sandusky investigation when she referenced two victims not among those Sandusky was charged with assaulting, two additional victims not mentioned in the report (see related story), raising questions about whether the abuse they endured could have been prevented if Sandusky had been charged sooner.
Prosecutors who worked the case immediately disputed the existence of those victims.
And Tuesday afternoon, Kane's office released a statement doubling down, saying it was "shameful for others to revictimize these individuals by denying their existence."
But now Kane's office admits that one of the victims to whom she referred on Monday was actually one of those who testified against Sandusky at his 2012 trial.
