One More Dry Day

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a nice fall weekend, the Delaware Valley can expect one more dry day before a showery midweek.

Many of us are thawing out after a cold morning that saw numerous places receive their first frosts of the season. Those chilly temperatures from this morning will rebound to around 60 today, still several degrees below normal. Early sunshine will mix with clouds this afternoon, making for a partly sunny remainder of the day.

An area of low pressure moving east will draw in some moisture from the ocean and set up shop over the region, slowly moving away by the end of the week. Tuesday through Thursday will carry a chance of showers each day, with varying degrees of precipitation. It is looking like on and off scattered showers for the majority of the period, with some more steady rain possible on Wednesday. Stay tuned to CBS3 as we continue to track this system!

Want an early peek at the upcoming weekend? It looks nice! Mid 60s and sunshine each day :)

Today's Highs:

Philly - 60
Shore - 63
Poconos - 52
