One Man Dead, Another Wounded In Kingsessing Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The search is underway for the gunman in a deadly shooting in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night near Bellmore and Frankford Avenues in the city's Kingsessing neighborhood.
Police say a 24-year-old man was shot in the neck, stomach and leg. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say a 35-year-old man was also shot while sitting inside a parked minivan nearby.
He is listed in critical condition at Temple Hospital.
Investigators are hoping several surveillance cameras in the area will help lead them to the suspect.
