One Dead After Single Vehicle Crash In South Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One person is dead after a one vehicle crash in South Philadelphia.
It happened around 2:40 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Columbus Boulevard and Oregon Avenue in the city's Moyamensing section.
Police say the driver struck a pole and became trapped inside the vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
