Jet Makes Emergency Landing At Philadelphia Airport
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police and fire crews responded to the scene after officials say a jet was reported experiencing a nose gear issue and made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport.
A Philadelphia International Airport spokesperson says a Hawker 4000 aircraft was reported experiencing a nose gear issue. The spokesperson says the pilot declared an emergency and made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The aircraft skidded to a stop, according to the spokesperson.
The spokesperson says the five passengers and crew on board the aircraft evacuated safely.
It's unclear if anyone was injured.
