Officials Identify Body Of Swimmer Who Went Missing While Rescuing Family Members In Ocean City Currents

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- A body found in the Great Egg Harbor Inlet has been identified as Jabed Ikbal, of Clementon. The 24-year-old went into the water on July 12 to rescue some members of his family who were struggling in the strong currents.
The family members made it back to the shore but Ikbal never resurfaced.
His body was recovered on Saturday.
