Officials ID 2 Victims Of Deadly Plane Crash In Chester County

WEST GOSHEN, Pa. (CBS) -- Officials have identified two victims who died in a small plane crash Sunday afternoon in Chester County.

Authorities say Richard Poch, 67, of West Chester and Joseph Deal, 64, of Drexel Hill were the two occupants on board at the time of the deadly crash.

Officials say the single-engine Piper PA28  went into a tailspin after takeoff from the Brandywine Airport.

Crews say the plane shattered on impact with debris spreading everywhere. It crashed about 15-20 feet from Harrison Hill Apartments.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is under investigation by the NTSB.
