Officials: Cash Reward Offered For Info Leading To Arrest Of Plymouth Township Bank Robbery Suspect
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect wanted for robbing a bank and firing a gun at the tellers in Plymouth Township.
On June 3 around 3:51 p.m., the suspect entered the Bank of America on the 400 block of Plymouth Road.
He presented a demand note to a teller and brandished a small black semi-automatic pistol. Investigators say that after allegedly obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the man turned to leave the bank and then fired one round from the pistol in the direction of the teller windows.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-to-late 40s with a medium build, a moustache and a goatee. He's about 5'8" and was wearing a white Nike hat and a white Under Armour shirt. That man was possibly operating a 2005-2007 Honda Accord.
Officials say there is a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect, who should be considered armed and dangerous.
