Officer Injured In Center City Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police officer was among three people injured in a three-car crash Monday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. at 21st and Spruce Streets in Center City.
According to investigators, a civilian car was travelling southbound on 21st Street when it struck a police cruiser that was responding to a call.
The police vehicle then struck another police cruiser, which was parked and unoccupied.
The officer was hospitalized with injuries to his face, back and neck, but he is expected to be okay.
The crash remains under investigation.
