Obama To Make Philadelphia Campaign Stop For Wolf
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — President Barack Obama will make a campaign stop for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf as part of a multi-state campaign swing ahead of the Nov. 4 election.
The White House said Obama's travels will include a Philadelphia campaign stop Nov. 2.
It said further details will be available in the coming days. Wolf is challenging Republican Gov. Tom Corbett's re-election bid.
Obama is the fourth high-profile Democrat to campaign for Wolf in as many weeks. Former President Bill Clinton is coming to Pittsburgh on Monday, following separate appearances in Philadelphia by his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and first lady Michelle Obama.
Corbett is Pennsylvania's former two-term attorney general from suburban Pittsburgh. Wolf is a first-time candidate from York County who ran his family's cabinet-distribution business for almost three decades.
