Authorities Looking For North Philly Car Arsonist

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are searching for the person responsible for setting fire to cars in North Philadelphia.

Surveillance video captured a woman placing an object on one of the cars, which then burst into flames and set another car on fire.

It happened Thursday morning just before 5 o'clock near 11th Street and Allegheny Avenue.

Two cars sustained major damage, a 2005 Toyota Solara and 2015 Honda Civic.

Philadelphia police and fire department officials are now investigating.

The suspect is described as an unknown female, wearing a light colored shirt, with a zigzag design.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
