Nick Foles Benched In St. Louis

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles are 4-5. The Rams are 4-5. Prior to the season, the two teams swapped quarterbacks and at this point, it's hard to say which one wound up getting the better signal caller.

While Sam Bradford's next start is in question because of injury, it appears the Nick Foles era in St. Louis is over after just nine games and it has nothing to do with him being hurt.

On Monday, the Rams announced that backup quarterback Case Keenum would be taking over for Foles when they face the Ravens this week.

"We've been over the last, you know probably say four to five weeks, looking at the offense and the big picture of our offense and just the production," Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said to the media during a press conference.

"I'm going to go ahead and go with Case," Fisher announced.

Four to five weeks of evaluation had the Rams second guessing the quarterback that they brought in and signed to a two-year contract extension.

So after the trade, which team has the better quarterback?

On the season, Foles has seven touchdown passes, six interceptions, 1,678 passing yards and completion percentage of 56.6. Bradford by no means is lighting it up on the field as he has 11 touchdown passes, 10 interceptions, 2,297 passing yards and a completion percentage of 63.9.

Bradford is boasting an 82.4 quarterback rating against Foles' 75.9.

Comparing two quarterbacks is never as simple as looking at the numbers. You have to consider the players around the them, the scheme they play in and their opponents.

So, while the numbers point to the Eagles having the better quarterback, there may be some Eagles fans out there who think the team would still be better off with Foles. Whatever side you fall on, chime in below.
