Newark Police Investigate Two Attempted Arsons

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) --- The Newark Police Department is investigating two arson attempts that occurred early Saturday.

Investigators have surveillance photos of the suspect, and police describe him as a college-aged white male with dark, short hair. He was wearing maroon or red pants and dark sneakers with white laces. At the time, the suspect was not wearing a shirt.

Department officers are reminding residents to secure their homes and report any and all suspicious activity to police by dialing 911.
