NARAL Spox On Protest Of Melania Speech: She Can't Explain Away What Trump Has Done
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Kaylie Hanson Long, the National Communications Director for NARAL, was in Berwyn today to protest Melania Trump's campaign speech for her husband and to support his opponent, Hillary Clinton, in advance of Tuesday's election.
Long told Dom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210 that nothing his wife says can undo the damage done to women by Donald Trump.
"We're out here today, in Pennsylvania with NARAL Pro-Choice America making the point that Donald Trump has these horrible actions and really indefensible positions that would directly effect millions of Pennsylvania women and families and there is nothing Melania can say that can explain away these awful positions he's taken, the terrible video we've seen where he talks about grabbing a woman by the you-know-what. It's just more of the same and we're excited to be here today to make that point in support of our champion, Hillary Clinton."

She believes Trump's past actions against women stand in sharp contrast with the work Clinton has accomplished.
"What we're focused on is Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton is the person who has spent her entire career fighting for women. We've seen Donald Trump in videos, we've read stories about him walking in on teenage girls as they're changing before a pageant, we've seen him say he wants to grab a woman by the you-know-what, bragging about sexual assault. There's been a dozen accusers come forward for Donald Trump. It seems like this is an endless string of attacks on women, someone who believes that we clearly don't have bodily autonomy and that is the complete opposite of Hillary Clinton."
