She was also named Sports Illustrated's Sports Kid of the Year.

Davis' latest honor has come from the NBA. She will be one of the participant's in the Celebrity Game at All-Star Weekend. Davis' skills definitely translate to the hardwood. She does play varsity high school basketball, which is pretty big deal considering that she's only in 8th Grade.

Davis got some practice in for the event on Monday as she met and took some shots with Golden State Warriors' All-Star Steph Curry. She also signed a copy of her Sports Illustrated cover for Curry.

Widely regarded as one of the league's top shooters, Curry will be taking place in the NBA Three Point Contest as well as starting in the All-Star Game.

Knowing Davis' mentality, she probably wanted to take Curry on in a shootout. She has a reputation for challenging the best of the best.
