Middle School Police Officer Hospitalized After Altercation With Student
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an altercation between a Tilden Middle School police officer and a student that happened shortly after 1:30 p.m.
Authorities say the officer was transported to Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital following the altercation. His condition is unknown.
According to police, the officer had an existing medical issue.
It's unclear whether the suspect was taken into custody.
