Maxwell: I Would 'Definitely Have To Consider' Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Byron Maxwell is the best cornerback on the free-agent market. The Eagles are reportedly the "front-runners" to sign the 27-year-old Super Bowl winning corner, and Maxwell is all for it.

"Definitely," Maxwell said, when asked if he would play for Chip Kelly in Philly. "They run the schemes that I'm talking about - Cover 3 and man press. And they're committed to winning. Definitely, Philadelphia, if they were to come at me, I would have to consider them."

"I gotta look at scheme, Cover 3, man, those types of schemes that fit me and how I play football," Maxwell continued. "And if the organization is committed to winning. That's the most important thing I've got to look at."
