Man Wearing Skeleton Mask Robs Hundreds Of Oxycontin Pills From Montgomery County CVS

LANSDALE, Pa. (CBS) -- Police are searching for the suspect who wore a skeleton-style mask while he stole nearly 600 pain-killing pills from a Montgomery County pharmacy.

The robbery happened on July 5th at the CVS Pharmacy in the 700 block of Sumneytown Pike in Lansdale.

According to investigators, the suspect entered the store, approached the pharmacy counter and demanded Oxycontin pills. The suspect made off with 563 pills worth approximately $890.

The suspect ran out of the store and was seen leaving in a white minivan, possibly a Dodge Voyager, on Broad Street.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s wearing a partial mask (possibly a skeleton design), a dark gray-hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers. Witnesses say he had on clear rubber gloves.

He was armed with a small folding knife with a light blue handle and a four-inch blade.

The suspect is described as being a little hunched over.
