Man Shot Dead In Kensington
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting death of a man overnight in Kensington.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday in the 1800 block of East Ontario Street.
Police say someone opened fire, striking a 27-year-old man in the head and in his back. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Several stray bullets struck the windows and door frames of nearby homes, but no one else was injured.
Authorities are reviewing surveillance video that they hope will help identify the shooter.
