Man Found Shot To Death In Car Near La Salle University

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the death of a man who was found in a car a short distance from the campus of a local college early Thursday morning.
The discovery was made at about 6 a.m. in the 500 block of East Armstrong Avenue, only a short distance from La Salle University.
According to investigators, the body of a 25-year-old male was found in the back seat of a Mercedes. Authorities say the male was shot to death.
Homicide detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department were at the scene investigating the death.
The identity of the victim was not immediately known.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
