Man Fatally Struck By SEPTA Train In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One man is dead after being struck by a SEPTA train near the Fern Rock Transportation Center.

Philadelphia police say it happened shortly before noon on Friday.

SEPTA investigators are at the scene.

SEPTA says all service on the Lansdale-Doylestown, Warminster and West Trenton trains has been suspended until further notice as a result.

No other details were immediately available.
