UPLAND, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Upland, Delaware County say an unidentified man is facing assault and weapons charges following a late Tuesday night stabbing incident inside the Emergency Room of Crozer Chester Medical Center.

A hospital official says it started as an argument between two people inside the ER. Two men, said to be related, accompanied another patient to the hospital. They became embroiled in a dispute and one of the men allegedly pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the other man.

The injured man has been treated for a non life threatening stab wound and was expected to be released this morning. The suspect was taken away in handcuffs by police.

No hospital employees were threatened or hurt.
