Man Arrested After Burglarizing Gloucester Township Convenience Store
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- A South Jersey man is behind bars for allegedly burglarizing a convenience store in Gloucester Township.
The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Sunday at the Pantry 1 Food Mart along the 500 block of Black Horse Pike in Glendora.
Police say officers responding to a burglary alarm arrived on scene and found the two front glass doors had been smashed out and the cash drawer was open inside the store.
Authorities quickly located the suspect nearby and placed him under arrest.
Investigators say they reviewed security video and positively identified 32-year-old Michael Christy Jr. of Gloucester City as the person responsible for the crime.
Christy was charged with Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief. He was being held at the Camden County Jail on $25,000 bail.
