Lottery Ticket Worth More Than $1 Million Sold In Montgomery County

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (CBS) – Lottery officials say a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Cash 5 lottery ticket worth more than $1 million from the June 8 drawing was sold in Montgomery County.

The Lottery says this has created Pennsylvania's sixth new millionaire in less than one month.

The ticket matched all five balls: 15-24-36-41-42, to win a prize of $1,001,451.50, less 25 percent federal withholding.

Officials say the retailer, Sunoco A-Plus on 300 E. Lancaster Avenue in Wynewood, will also receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Lottery officials say the holder of the jackpot-winning ticket should immediately sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery's seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.
